PSemuX is an open-source virtualization-based PS5 and PS4 emulator project written in Java for Android OS.
This is the first and the only PS5 emulator which allows you to play Play Station 5 and 4 games on smartphone devices.
PSemuX emulator project is in its early stage and is licensed under the MIT license.
This app supports all Play Station 5 controllers, xbox controllers and keyboard & mouse inputs.
It is possible to run some commercial games for PS5; there maybe graphics glitches, crashes, freezes and low FPS.
There are features that are not implemented for now, such audio input/output, MP4 video, Network, Multi-user.
Path to Savedata folder is hardcoded and can’t be configured; system parameters (language, date format, etc.) are also hardcoded.
PSemuX emulator will recompile all the shaders, untiling all the textures and upload all the buffers every frame, making it less efficient.
Besides, there are still some problems in the game pad emulation; the developers will try to resolve these issues incrementally.
PSemuX emulator can runs most of the PS5 and PS4 exclusive titles on high-end systems with some bugs/glitches as it is still in beta.
You can now play PS5 games on Android at variable frame rates with a smooth experience as most of the titles can now run at 60 FPS and beyond.
PSemuX emulator use the built-in frame-limiter to speed up or slow down the game for rapid grinding or passing through difficult areas.
The advanced settings menu lets users tune in-game resolution, add post-processing effects, and extend visual enhancement features.

Install
- Download the app on Android device
- Open a file manager on the device
- Select the folder containing the downloaded file
- Open the .apk file and press Install
